How a repair with Global Airbag works, what we promise and what we ask of you. {updated}

What we do
We repair and regenerate airbags, seat belts and pretensioners, and dashboards opened by an airbag, and we clear crash data stored in airbag control modules. Refitting the part in the vehicle is not included unless we agree it in the quote.
Quote and contract
We quote from the photos and details you send on WhatsApp. The quote is a fixed price for the work it describes. If, when we inspect the part, it differs from the photos or needs more work, we tell you before we do anything else and you decide. The contract starts when you accept the quote.
Sending the part
You pack the part safely and send it to us once we have told you how. Airbag modules and belt pretensioners are safety parts with special transport rules, so do not post them before we confirm. You pay the shipping, both ways.
Prices and payment
The prices shown on this website are starting prices, not an offer. You pay for the repair after it is done. The prices are gross: VAT is included where it applies and nothing is added later.
Turnaround
A dashboard repair takes 6 to 7 working days from the day the parcel reaches us. Airbags take 3 to 4 working days, seat belts, pretensioners and crash data reset 2 to 3 working days, all from the day the part reaches us. Add the shipping time both ways.
Warranty
We give 12 months on the work we do. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If we cannot repair it
If you are not satisfied with the result, we refund the price of the repair.
Cancelling
If you are a consumer, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of accepting the quote. If you ask us to start work within that time, you pay for the work done until you tell us you cancel. Contact us to cancel.
Safety
Airbags and seat belts are safety equipment. After a repair the part must be fitted and the system checked by a competent garage. We cannot test your vehicle remotely.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Complaints
Tell us at hello@globalairbag.co.uk or on WhatsApp what is wrong and send photos. We reply within 14 days.
Law
Mandatory consumer rights of the country where you live are not affected. See also our privacy policy and contact details.
